Electric Car technology?

    We have electric Cars technology available.? since we have technology, why now we turn to electric cars from pricy petrol?

    We’re getting there. The battery technology is now approaching a point where we can have high speed, long range, and long lasting EVs with lithium ion batteries

    It’s worth remembering that we’ve been working actively on electric cars for fully 100 years, and haven’t come very close to a practical vehicle in that time. Note that there have been battery-powered cars and trucks in certain industries for decades, but they’re simply terrible and always have been despite intensive work on batteries.

    it’s a combination of Oil company lobbying and lack of consumer interest that keeps EV’s from really taking off. A lotof people are lead to believe that they are junk or are more polluting.
